Just as we suspected, the white version of the iPhone 4 ran into last minute manufacturing problems that Apple didn’t anticipate. That’s why they weren’t available for pre-order earlier in the month and won’t be until mid-July, Apple confirmed in a statement earlier today. Bummer. If anything, this increases the value of the white version compared to the now standard black model in some odd way.
