Sprint has received mixed reviews with regard to their HTC EVO 4G smart phone. Less than perfect battery life, great features, it’s been a mixed bag for all who have tried this phone. Now there is an update that is being pushed forth that is expected to provide some needed improvements to the user experience with the EVO 4G.

ZDNet reports that a new software update is available that is finally addressing an issue with wifi connectivity on the EVO 4G phone. Additional improvements include a fix for Exchange Active Sync setup as well. Unfortunately though, the update is reported to be “bricking” some EVO 4G phones which is not going to do well with those affected.
