Pricing realities are hitting a lot of vendors in the e-book realm. Amazon among others, have felt the heat. But its the cutbacks in pricing on the available e-book readers, that has been making headlines.

PCWorld is reporting that Sony is among the latest e-book reader producers to reduce the cost of their wares. Their price cuts are significant and appear in tune with the cuts made by their competition. At the end of the day though, Amazon is likely to be the most unscathed from all the different e-reader vendors.
