TV Tablet From Motorola and Verizon

People have been claiming that TV will be portable ever since the famed old time Dick Tracy watches of yesterday. And to a limited extent, we’ve seen TV migrating into the world of modern mobile devices. But what about a portable TV viewing devices that is easier on the eyes and a bit larger than your typical mobile phone?

According to the Financial Times, Motorola and Verizon are teaming up to provide TV tablets for the populous at large based on the Android operating system. Clearly something designed to compete at some level with the iPad, this Android tablet’s focus appears to be centric on media, rather than acting as a tablet computer. Despite this possible setback, this tablet is expected to be thinner and lighter than the Apple iPad.
