TV we can take with us. What was once just a dream has been a reality to some extent now thanks to innovations like Apple’s iTunes and streaming based alternatives to iTunes in recent years. But what about something that is being provided by the mobile carrier themselves comes along that actually broadcasts TV to mobile users? Now that is a big deal.

Gizmodo reports that AT&T is offering something new called U-Verse in which you can now stream TV  (popular shows) to your iPhone. Yes, this is an AT&T app made available for the users of the iPhone. This means Android users and other mobile providers are simply out of luck completely. It will be interesting to see how this does against Hulu Plus, as U-Verse is said to offer more content. Then again, Hulu Plus is in beta (I have access myself) and I can tell you more content is being added everyday.
