In another event, 3G is going to get leapfrogged by 4G and it’s possible that by the time we hit market with such phone services in Africa, we will already be on 5G, which will get implemented directly, so in a way, the furious pace of technology and development ensures that we have new services and programs at a rapid pace. The newer technology then helps people in undeveloped countries to go about their daily business much more efficiently. It also enables them to use the products to make their lives more comfortable.

Even if you are amongst those who don’t have a cell phone, you’ll be surprised to know that even the phone booths are connected to the same cellular networks and provide you with instant communication.

The government is expectedly delighted with the latest trend in wireless technologies, as it can tax the cash rich companies and generate additional revenue.

Technology is most certainly bridging the gap between those who want to share their thoughts, their lives and anything and everything they please. In today’s global village, all you need is a cell phone and some airtime (which has become an alternate currency in Africa, by the way) in order to communicate and share your views with others.
