Page 3 of 3 Courtesy of OSWeekly.com Continued... So, yes - OS X does experience problems that it can't recover from, but unlike the BSOD, I've never seen a kernel panic screen, and I use OS X each and every day. If appearances by the kernel panic screen were more common than they are today, then I know that a lot more Mac users would be able to sympathize with their Windows brethren. Aside from the OS, Mac software can also occasionally be buggy, and this has led to complaints from users. A recent example is iTunes 7. It's worked great for some people, but others have experienced audio quality issues and deletion of some of their files. Those are the last things that you should be expecting when you load up a new and improved version of software that you've previously had no problems with. This shows us that the emphasis on stability and bug issues should be focused on software just as much as it's focused on the OS itself. When technology arrives at a perfect state, then please let me know, m'kay?
