Now that Apple’s amazingly hyped iPhone has debuted in the US, the company is already prepping for third-party companies to reveal a plethora of iPhone exclusive gadgets in the near future. In fact, Apple already has an iPhone accessories page on its official website that lists a variety of accessories that you can purchase in case paying $499/$599 didn’t make enough of a dent in your pocket.

Many of these accessories aren’t too exciting, but that’s to be expected. Let’s wait for a few months, and your appetite to spend thousands of dollars for your neat little iPhone will be taken care of as companies flood the market with a variety of gadgets that ranges from usable to the most useless. Thus far, the most expensive accessory is the matching iPhone Bluetooth Headset for $129 to take care of your wireless call-making needs.

iPhone: Only the Millionaires Need Apply

Similar to the iPod, Apple expects to work with third-party companies under its iPhone exclusive initiative "Works With iPhone" to make their accessories official and 100 percent iPhone compliant. The reason for the lack of iPhone accessories on the launch date is related to Apple’s secrecy. Companies reported that in order to avoid third-party developers from leaking iPhone related information to the media, Apple did not provide them with the iPhone to spec out their accessories. Naturally, Apple wouldn’t do that. If everybody knew how the iPhone performed, this wouldn’t have been the most crazy product launch in the product launch history.

So, for those of you who are waiting to get your hands on a few iPhone accessories, fear not. Apple and its partners are working to quench your thirst, and if anything, by this time next year, you’ll be annoyed to read iPhone accessory reviews plastered on media publications, such as CoolTechZone.com, all across the Web.
