Now that you’ve set up your new entertainment system, you know what’s missing? A remote control, of course! The sleek looking Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote will let you configure and control your television settings, such as aspect ratios depending on the program source. The advanced remote will also let you pick different ratios for different programming. For instance, you can scale to a 16:9 ratio for movies and HDTV or a standard 4:3 for regular programming. The Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote features a professional and delicate color scheme, which will match quite nicely with the rest of your entertainment system. The buttons are integrated well into the remote control. The play/pause, skip forward/backward and other such buttons are soundly separated from the regular number pad. The top half of the Harmony 880 additionally adds a few more buttons that are intricately crafted into the remote control. The buttons are all well and good, but what has us excited is the color display that exhibits eight custom activities or controls, a battery level indicator, and the time of the day. Not only that but you can modify the display with your very own customizable backgrounds, button icons and text. The Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Universal Remote has a lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a life span of one-week under normal use. The remote control is packed with a docking station that charges the battery even when the remote is in use.
