(First Look) - When it comes to cell phones, Nokia is on top of trends. With its consistently updated product line for a variety of users, the company surely leaves a mark, especially with such a sensual collection. The L’Amour Collection consists of three cell phones, the 7370, the 7380 and the 7360, which we are previewing today. For starters, this collection isn’t necessarily designed for an average person. It’s a designer series, if you will, for the classy consumer, quite possibly women with a sense of style and fashion.

The intricate exterior, rippled with admirable design and color scheme makes this series one of the exclusives in the industry. As we saw earlier, the 7380 is the mobile version of the series, the 7370 is a standard flip-top phone, and the 7380 is the typical candy bar edition to fit all lifestyles and preferences.

Since we’ve discussed many of these the features in our 7370 and 7380 First Look articles, we’ll go ahead and touch some of the exclusive and notable specifications of the 7360 and forward you to our other articles for full information. The 7360 has a bright screen at 128x160 16-bit color display, an integrated VGA camera, FM stereo radio, 65K color screen, 5-way joystick and 4MB of onboard storage.

Nokia’s 7360 currently retails for ~$300, making it the most affordable and economical phone in The L’Amour Collection.

Initial Thoughts: Unlike the other two models in the collection, the 7360 is comparatively affordable, and as time progresses, we expect prices to dip significantly. With that said, $300 is still not an enjoyable price, but consumable. While Nokia rightfully boasts the phone’s multimedia features, the lack of enough onboard memory is a serious drawback (common across the product line). Unfortunately, Nokia needs to revamp onboard storage in order to impress the functionality oriented consumers. Assuming the performance is acceptable, there’s no reason why this phone shouldn’t be at the top of the list of fashion conscious gadgeteers.
