(First Look) - Similar to the Nokia 7380 cell phone we looked at earlier, the Nokia 7370 belongs to the same product lineup. The L’Amour Collection consists of three cell phones that are selectively designed for the royalty, quite literally. These phones are far beyond the reach of Motorola or Samsung, as they posses a style of their own, something unique and never seen before. We don’t want to exaggerate, but with the L’Amour Collection, we don’t have a choice, seriously.

The Nokia 7370 has a 180-degree rotator design with ergonomic tilt, 1.3-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, 2" display with 262K color support, video ringing tones, FM visual stereo radio and EDGE tri-band capabilities.

The exterior of the Nokia 7370 is nothing short of spectacular, as it packs a 240x320 resolution screen, 5-way scroll key, two soft keys, send and end keys, Camera key, volume/Zoom key and a dedicated key for landscape video camera mode.

The recent trend in camera phones is the decency of integrating worthwhile attachments. Thankfully, Nokia is on top of trends, and thus includes black and white, sepia, negative and multi-shot modes. Additionally, the phone also packs in a video recorder and player, supports JPEG, GIF, EXIF, WBMP, BMP, MBM and PNG image formats, the option to use saved pictures as screensavers and MPEG video playback and streaming.

The Nokia 7370 and its visual radio feature lets users listen to music and interact with music channels by finding out artist information, the ability to enter contests and surveys, and the facility to download the songs from the online music buying service directly to the phone. The Nokia 7370 cell phone supports MP3, AMR and MIDI audio formats.

The phone packs in 10MB of onboard storage, includes multimedia messaging features, supports the latest e-mail protocols, holds a variety of Java applications, latest mobile browser standards and much more.

The price of the Nokia 7370 is approximately $395.99 and comes in two colors: coffee brown and warm amber.

Initial Thoughts: As we stated in our Nokia 7380 First Look Initial Thoughts: "The very first thing that stands out is the hefty price tag for the 7370 but as is the case with most Nokia phones, the price is inflated. Overall, the phone appears to pack the latest features and functionality that are a must have in today’s cell phones, but Nokia has done injustice to the phone multimedia features with 10MB of onboard memory. Unfortunately, the onboard memory is too low for anyone to seriously take advantage of the entertaining attributes of the device." This pretty much sums up our initial thoughts on the 7370 as well. In addition to packing the latest features and releasing a product line for royalty, we certainly hope delivers on audio quality, which is a must for any cell phone.
