Microsoft Corp. today announced its plans to launch the company’s very own computer maintenance subscription service for customers that demand quick and hassle-free tune-up.

The software maker said it would initially distribute the service to its staff members inside the firm, and later offer a beta package for those interested in testing out the first build.

The all-in-one software, named "Windows OneCare", will include anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, firewall protection and security updates for personal computers.

Additionally, the software will regularly maintain computers; automatically optimize them for best performance and back-up critical data.

Microsoft did not reveal further details on the software, such as its official launch date. The company, however, did say that it plans to charge its customers an annual fee in return for the services. The price was also not disclosed at the time of publishing.
