Microsoft Corp. finally came through with Halo 2 and ended the waiting period of millions of gamers worldwide today by announcing Halo 2 in the market. Microsoft operated Bungie studio released a sequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, which continues the story of Master Chief and his fight to protect humanity. The game is rated "M" for mature audience because of its war-like situations. The launch date of the game led to mile long lines at stores with copies of Halo 2. Bungie is working on enhancing support for Xbox Live functionality, which will be more detailed than any other game before. Players will be able to earn medals and view their statistics in highly detailed maps and leader boards. Microsoft is offering the game in two flavors – 1) the regular version that costs $49.99 and 2) a Limited Collector’s Edition that costs $54.99. The Limited Edition includes two DVDs with comments from the developers, image gallery, and behind the scenes work at Bungie studios.
