If you think the iPod Shuffle was as small as iPods could get, you are in for a surprise. Apple’s latest iPod avatar, the iPod Nano is arguably the most chic looking iPod in the world, and comparing that to the standards that iPods have already set, that really is saying something.

Straight out of the box, the Nano looks unbelievably slim, but only when you hold it in your hands do you realise how astoundingly thin and petite this player is. Just to give you an idea, the Nano is about five business cards stacked up and 20 percent shorter than the cards in length.

We are all aware of the standard iPod exterior, so there’s not much to discuss here. But to give you an overview, the iPod Nano is similar to the rest of the iPod family. The overall exterior of the iPod Nano is cluttered free with only the world-renowned click wheel occupying the central location on the front. According to Apple, the iPod Nano is as thin as a no. 2 pencil, and Apple is correct with that statement. As we mentioned earlier, it’s only when you hold the Nano in your hand do you realize its amazing size; the images definitely don’t do justice here. Other than that, the last thing to point out is the magnificent vividly bright screen that supports 65K colors.

The product is nothing without features so on we go…
