(Review) – In the world of high-end headphones and earphones, price is possibly the only drawback with elite pairs in the industry. Sure, quality is important, but unfortunately, when it boils down to making the final decision, the price heavily outweighs the superb quality, in many cases, of the high-end pairs. In fact, for the majority of casual listeners, there’s no value in purchasing the best of the best pair simply because justifying substantially elevated price tags is above and beyond the budget. But what would you do if a high-end earphones manufacturer offered a quality solution at an affordable price? Would you be interested? This is exactly what Ultimate Ears is hoping to accomplish with its Super.Fi 3 Studio earphones.

According to our review, "The audio quality was exceptional; the notes, pitches and chords were precise and to-the-point. The audio was well defined and regardless the volume configurations, there was no distortion in sound. With that said, the bass was somewhat weak, so if you are planning on purchasing these earphones for gaming or heavy hitting genres, we suggest you look at other viable options. Other than the bass issue, we were left quite impressed with this inexpensive pair of Super.Fi Studio 3 earphones."

However, there’s one issue with the in-canal ear design (in addition to base problems). "Those drawbacks include the need to have clean ears before using the earphones and to be careful with volume settings when you are so close to the eardrum."
