We must admit that Etymotic definitely excels in the accessories area of our coverage, but then again, they must make their product tempting enough to justify the price tag so apparently it balances out. The necessities include a shirt clip, a user’s manual, a pair of foam eartips, a pair of replaceable filters, and a filter-changing tool.

The user’s manual displays the correct usage of the earphones combined with proper instructions on how to clean them and replace their filters. We are glad that Etymotic has included a pair of foam tips to clear the fitting issues, but the value of these earphones could’ve increased if there were a few more pairs of foam eartips or a better take would be to disregard the foam tips and simply include three different sizes – small, medium, and large. While we understand that not everyone will have the same fitting due to different ear structure, it will certainly help in eliminating most of these fitting issues. The flange eartips are much comforting than their foam counterparts. On a more positive note, however, the flange eartips seem to be more delicate while the foam eartips tend to do a better job by covering the entire ear canal due to their malleability.

Other than what we discussed above, everything else with the product is straightforward and does not require an introduction.
