LiveWires Custom Fit Earphones
(Review) - Regardless of how much money you spend on earphones, sometimes, it all goes to waste because the earphones are uncomfortable and they don’t fit you properly. If you have experienced this problem, then certainly you have looked at custom fitted earphones that are molded to fit your ears exclusively. While that option is always open, the price tag is a little too much for most of us to swallow. Thankfully, this is where LiveWires comes in to take care of the pricing problem.
You can have a pair of LiveWires custom earphones for a low price of $249, which is very reasonable. The package comes with a pair of earphones with red and blue earbuds to distinguish from left and right, but don’t worry, once you insert them into your ears, only the outer edge shows to hide the goofy color combination. The earphones naturally fit well into your ears and make a solid seal around them to block excess noise and add comfort to the fit. Although this editor doesn’t have a problem with uncomfortable earphones, he did notice a slight difference between the comfort levels of LiveWires and Shure earphones. Presumably, this would be an ideal solution for those of you who have a problem with mainstream earphones.
Future Sonics Atrio M8 Earphones Review
The earphones don’t come with a lot of accessories, which is expected for the price tag, but here are a few noteworthy points: the cable is replaceable and the earphones are 360-degree "rotatable." In addition to that, they are integrated with dual drivers, which clean up otherwise muffled and lost audio. In terms of audio performance, LiveWires are amazing, and they fantastically bring out warmer and silent sounds from albums that we hadn’t experienced before. Needless to say, they are very sensitive, and you will have to use them at the lowest volume level possible to protect your hearing. However, we were a little puzzled in a few different genres. For instance, anytime we played a song with decent bass, we either received great feedback or the performance was good at best. Obviously, these earphones lack a solid bass to support bass-heavy genres, but the back-and-forth in audio output was odd.
That’s all there is to it. Simple, perfectly fitted with quality output. For the price of $249, LiveWires are an affordable pair that offers exceptional comfort and great performance as long as you are not listening to bass-heavy songs. Even then, you could work with the equalizer to alter the settings. These earphones are definitely something to put on your list when you go shopping for your next pair.
