We’ve been thoroughly impressed by Samsung’s YP-T7 series that offers more than a few features including a 65K-color bright screen, support for OGG, MP3, Audio ASF, WMA DRM and WAV audio formats. Furthermore, it comes in three storage sizes including 256MB, 512MB and 1GB. Not only that, but the MP3 player uses flash memory, which makes it far more compact and somewhat rugged than standard hard drive players. Other features include real time equalizer display, FM tuner and FM recording functionalities, USB 2.0 interface for rapid file transfers, preset equalizer settings and other audio enhancing capabilities. As much as Samsung’s T7 series include a wonderful list of players, there are certain aspects of the product that we don’t particularly like. These imperfections include the delicateness of the player, the lack of durable casing, average music management software and the pitiable pair of earphones. Despite such issues, we still don’t have a problem recommending it to anyone with a desire for superb audio quality and overall value. The disparity between YP-T7V and other players in its class is the color scheme and possibly even the price depending upon the storage size. Since it’s contains only 256MB of flash memory, it certainly costs far less than its 512MB and 1GB counterparts with the exact same features and specifications as this one. Because the YP-T7V is the exact same player as the YP-T7X, it wasn’t necessary to review it again; our recommendation still stands for all players in the YP-T7 class. If you are interested in reading an in-depth analysis of the YP-T7X, which is the exact same player as the YP-T7V except that it has more storage and a different color, please click here to read on…
