Product Analysis:

As is the case generally, there’s not much to talk about in regards to Shure’s E2g gaming earphones, or earphones from other companies for that matter. These really are few of the simplistic devices you can get in the market with little to no confusion. Regardless, let’s see how E2g earphones hold up.

The E2g have a very traditional design with earpieces that go deep inside the ear canal to reduce extraneous noise and give a wholesome feeling to the listener. Shure has been implementing natural noise isolating technologies ever since it launched its E series of earphones, and we must say the "technology" works.

You see, there’s nothing technical about noise isolating other than the design. The E2g (as well as other E series earphones) have a stupendous design that naturally reduces extraneous noise. Since Shure hasn’t implemented any technology to do this artificially, we fail to understand why they would label this as noise isolating technology. Either way, the design works and works well.

What we admire about high-end earphones is their overall package, which consists of a variety of tips and sleeves for all sizes. Not to mention the portable carrying case you get – a handy tool for storing all your accessories. The E2g was no different in this regard and came with three sizes – small, medium and large – for all listeners.
