Performance Summary…

Considering E2g is designed specifically for gaming as well as music needs, we tested it under both environments. Moreover, we also tested them with MP3 players and other regular scenarios where majority of you are likely to use them (for example, in noisy surroundings).

After our testing, we have one word that concludes our performance summary: Excellent!

The technical specifications of the E2g gaming series earphones are more or less the same as the company’s E2c earphones, which have been in the market for quite some time. Regardless the environment we tested E2g in, we were pleasantly surprised with robust, clear and crisp audio reproduction. Amazingly enough, hard-hitting gaming audio was admirable as well. Despite their claims, many companies fail in the critical gaming market where sound reproduction is bass heavy. The E2g passed our tests flawlessly in all categories.

The overall package is all well and good and provides you with an opportunity to seek a perfect fit with the included sleeves. We are glad to mention that E2g have reduced the wire length as well, which was annoying with the earlier E series earphones. This makes these earphones more compatible and less hassle prone.

All in all, if you are in the market for excellent sounding earphones, there’s no better option than Shure’s E2g gaming earphones, especially for $99.
