We all want crisp audio quality to satisfy our entertainment needs, which is why we rely on high-end speaker systems with unbelievable amount of power to pull us into the enviornment. While speakers are getting all the attention, we shouldn't forget that headphones have improved quite a bit in these recent years. They are completely comparable to some of the high-end speakers from manufacturers like Logitech. Of course, in order to get all the high-end benefits you will have to pay a hefty price. This is another reason why headphones have always taken the backseat in the world of audio accessories. The pricey headphones have become the traditional accessory for professional musicians and ultimate music fans who can't stay away from their music for too long. To satisfy the needs of music enthusiasts, Ultrasone carries few products that are equipped with some of the best technologies that can be implemented in a pair of headphones. Today we will take a look at their HFI-550 headphones and we must say that these headphones are definitely pricey. They will require you to think seriously before purchasing them. As always, we will get to the price as well as the performance of these headphones throughout the analysis. Without further ado, let's begin... As we noted in our Altec Lansing AHP-512 analysis, companies are not including anything that they feel is unncessary and quite frankly we agree with them. It is not necessary to include an user's manual simply because there isn't much to discuss about a pair of headphones except for their specifications, which you can find on their official website. While Altec Lansing did not include anything, Ultrasone, caterer to the music enthusiasts, has included a carry case. The case is black in color with Ultrasone's logo in the center. Even though it is not the most exciting accessory in a product, it was very thoughtful of Ultrasone to consider including a carry case with their headphones. After all, consumers will need something to put their headphones in for protection purposes.
