The front of the case is entirely plastic, even the "chrome." If you are wondering where the power and reset buttons are, you are in good company because we did the exact same thing after taking our first look at the case. If you look at the lower part of the case, you’ll see two boomerang shaped buttons at the center of the "chrome" X. Those are the buttons. Look to the left and right of the buttons and you’ll see a black mesh. If you choose to install an intake fan at the front of the case, these screens will be where the fan gets its cool air. In our opinion, this mesh provides plenty of air to pass through and will not be a hindrance to the function of an intake fan. Unfortunately, Logisys does not include a fan at this location, but there are mounting points installed if you want to put in your own 120mm fan.

As you can tell from the image, it’s very easy to get fingerprints on the silver plastic material. The red plastic shows them also, but they are rather faint compared to the ones mentioned earlier.

The door covering the external bays is one of the best we’ve ever used. It’s very sturdy, yet doesn’t feel heavy. The hinges feel incredibly secure and lead us to believe that breaking this door would be difficult. The two silver rectangles you see on the far right side of the case are magnets that work with magnets in the door itself to keep it shut. If you are bringing this case to LAN parties or moving it around your house, you won’t have to worry about the door suddenly opening. Also, they are not so strong as to prevent you from easily opening the door. The magnets are just the perfect strength.

The externally accessible ports are at the bottom of the case. There are one Firewire (IEEE 1394a), two USB 2.0 ports, one audio in, and one audio out. These ports are becoming a standard feature on any enthusiast case, and we would consider it a huge flaw if a case didn’t have any ports accessible from the front.

Although you can’t see it in this image, the cables from the ports and power buttons won’t interfere with a 120mm intake fan because Logisys included a grill in front of where the fan would be placed.
