Product Analysis:

The PowerAngel meter is a sleek looking product that works exceptionally well. The top of the meter contains a four-letter display LCD panel that displays the information vividly. Underneath the LCD panel are five functionality buttons that are used to switch between different modes. These modes include AC voltage, amperes, watts, VA, hertz, power factor, kilowatt hour and hour. The modes are listed with their designated buttons and you simply press the button to measure any one of the aforementioned power ratings. Right under the buttons is the connector, which requires you to plug-in the device for power measurement.

While Seasonic promotes their product as being professional friendly, we suggest you use the PowerAngel appropriately. It’s intended more for enthusiasts and regular users who want to quickly measure power ratings of consumer electronics and whatnot. And even though the meter is accurate within one to two percent of the actual depth, we would recommend consulting a more reliable meter for professional jobs. Besides, PowerAngel may not be up to the standards of professional electricians and other such titles.

In our lab, we found the PowerAngel to be an exceptional product. It does what it’s intended to do and does it well. The user interface is interactive and friendly enough for a new user to understand the necessary power modes. The usage is also well done and the product is molded for sleekness. And for the price of $35.00, you can’t go wrong with the PowerAngel meter for regular, day-to-day tasks. Without a doubt, Seasonic has introduced an exceptional product that delivers at an affordable price.
