Silverstone, a Taiwanese computer case and accessories manufacturer, has made a strong appearance in the North American market by introducing new products at a fairly steady pace. That being said, the new products are fairly similar to each other in terms of updated features and specifications. While Silverstone carries a fair variety of standard ATX desktop cases, they seem to have a much larger product line of their HTPC cases. This could be that Silverstone is trying to dominate this particular market segment as the competition is less fierce than the desktop case market.

Let's not forget that Silverstone also has their power supplies and other computer case accessories that many may find useful. Today we will take a look at Silverstone's SST-ST30NF silent power supply unit. "Silent" will be the key word throughout this analysis as this power supply does not have fans for air circulation. Due to it being a silent power supply, the price will be one of the factors to pay attention to towards the end of the analysis. Without further delay, let's begin...

Accessories:

This particular power supply comes with the standard amount of accessories that one expects from any decent manufacturer. The package contains - an user's manual, a power cord, four screws, and a metal plate. The metal plate and the screws will assist with the installation of the product as installing it with the standard case screws may not work. The user's manual is fairly straight-forward with well published diagrams and descriptions. Thus far, Silverstone has done an impressive work with the package and the packaged contents.
