The side of the Soprano we reviewed features an "X" shaped plastic viewing window with a 90mm fan. We aren’t completely sure what type of plastic Thermaltake used here but it is very study, thick, and completely transparent. The hole for the fan is expertly cut and the grill fits perfectly. The fan didn’t line up completely with our processor fan but it was pretty close. Due to its proximity to the exhaust fan, we are worried that most of its potential cooling powers are being sucked out of the case before they reach the processor fan. If it was moved to the right a little more, it might lower processor temperatures a little bit better. Like the front door, the side of the case features a lock as well. This prevents theft of potentially expensive computer components such as video and RAID cards, not to mention the hard drives. We recommend that all businesses have locks of this nature on their computers to preserve critical or private data.
