One of the first things to notice was the reduced height and weight of the case. Aside some changes, the skull edition case was pretty much the exact replica of the V1000A case. Another major change that took place was the implementation of a honeycomb style side panel. This side panel was different than the ones we see on a regular basis. It was attached to the aluminum panel of the case via black screws.
This time Thermaltake paid very close attention to the right panel of the case. There were two locations for Thermaltake’s 80mm case fans. One of the fans was included with the case while the second one had to be purchased separately.
Also on the right panel was the LAN lock. This location of the LAN lock is better on the skull edition as it doesn’t interfere with the cases' outer beauty. |
