Packaging:

Before we get into details about this heatsink, we would like to say that there were a lot of inconsistencies among the press release, specification sheet on the CoolerMaster website, and on the box of the heatsink itself about the true specs. We had to guess and check some things such as processor support mentioned on the first page. Fan dimensions on the website and press release suggested 80X80X70 but on the actual box of this heatsink, the fan dimensions were 80X80X80. This is not a way to release product specs. Anyways, we just wanted to point this out to our readers. These inconsistencies will not affect the review in any ways since we are looking for performance.

Back to the review, from the above picture you can see the actual box of Aero 7 Lite. The box itself is very small and contains everything you need. The inside packaging is done very well. There are two Styrofoam plates that hold the heatsink securely inside the box. Everything is nicely packed in their own packets.

Product Analysis:

In the above picture you can see all the accessories that come with Aero 7 Lite. On the very top of the picture is a little plate, which holds the speed control knob. CoolerMaster gave it a nice touch by putting their logo on it. In the middle is also a little plate, which can hold your speed control knob. CoolerMaster was nice enough to give their users two options. You can either use the stylish plate at the very top of the picture to control the fan or you can hide the knob behind the case. The plate in the middle replaces the plate that is in front of PCI slots. On the bottom left of the picture is the actual speed contol knob and four black screws. The knob is very attractive and we really liked the fact that CoolerMaster even paid attention to the color of screws. On the bottom right of the above-mentioned picture is an aluminum sticker. Yes! The sticker is actually made out of aluminum. We were pretty shocked to see that. The sticker has CoolerMaster’s logo on it and it looks really nice on a case.
