Taisol Heatpipe Solution came with its very own installation guide. Pardon the picture because the guide was folded at least ten times. The installation guide has eight steps that it walks you through. The installation guide is written in very simple and easy to understand English. The labeling is great on the installation guide, which certainly helps with the installation and overall understanding of this heatsink.

Finally after analyzing Taisol’s heatsink we took it out of it’s package. There were only two things included with this heatsink, which were the heatsink itself, and the installation guide. Taisol didn’t bother to include a thermal compound. By not adding a thermal compound, it is showing why it can’t compete with manufacturers like Thermaltake or Thermalright. There was no fan controllers or anything. Taisol did not included anything with the heatsink.

From the picture above you can see the aluminum finishing on this heatsink. The finishing was horrible on Taisol’s Heatpipe solution HSF. There were scratches all over the body, which made it look old and used. It hardly looked new in our labs. We have not seen such poor finishing before.
