Extreme Volcano 12 HSF weighs at 708g, which makes it one of the heaviest heatsinks produced by Thermaltake. 80 mm fan is red in color and has Thermaltake’s logo in the center. It also has 2 ball bearings and 80,000 hours of life span. The fan can be operated at high speeds of ~5500 RPM and low speeds of ~2000 RPM. The fan uses three blades for maximum airflow at all speeds. Four screws were used to hold the fan on top of the copper block.
Two sides of the heatsink used metal while the other two sides showed the copper fins. Extreme Volcano 12 cooler uses the popular clip design for hassle free installation.
Extreme Volcano 12 heatsink utilizes pure copper on the base for maximum cooling. The base was finely tuned and had no scratches when we received it. Thermaltake’s official website address was etched on the right side of the heatsink. |
