Power Management: Clicking and holding the battery icon brings up a shortcut to power management features where you can choose between three profiles - Automatic, Power Saver or Performance. Once you double-click on the battery icon, you’ll get to the new power management console (please refer to the previous article for detailed information regarding this feature), which would let you create custom profiles. These profiles would then show up as quick access items.

Peer-to-Peer: There is a peer-to-peer client integrated into the OS as well, which could mean that Microsoft is looking at even more lawsuits from RIAA and MPAA. Just when you thought P2P was curtailed (with all the court verdicts against them), they have received support from the world’s largest software company. Score one for P2P, assuming it makes it to the final release. At the moment, however, P2P support in 5231 doesn’t work. When you attempt to launch the application, you are welcomed with a critical error with a privacy policy placeholder link.
