The BIOS gives you the ability to downclock your system by dropping the bus speeds to 190MHz. Unlike other motherboards in the market, the bus speeds can usually be pushed to 300MHz, but MSI chose to limit the option. Unfortunately for the board, MSI does not have an AGP/PCI lock on the FSR. By not having such an important feature on the board, MSI will have a difficult time pleasing enthusiasts. After such a long time in its release, MSI has failed to provide the AGP/PCI lock with a BIOS update; therefore, we don’t have any high hopes for MSI to support this feature in the future. Those who have plans to build a stock budget system may ignore this feature, but for the overclocking crowd, MSI FSR lacks one of the most important features that an overclocker can ask for. Other than that, the board also lacks chipset voltage, which is yet another important feature to the enthusiast community. The remaining features are fairly standard that are found on almost all other motherboards.
