(Review) - The original RAZR was a breathtaking phenomenon. It instantly catapulted Motorola to the cell phone Hall of Fame. The slick, super sexy design, amazingly slim physique and the added charm of the laser cut keys were nothing less than mind-blowing. Unfortunately, it was also terribly useless when you actually wanted to do anything with it. A lousy VGA camera, an unbelievably limited onboard 5MB memory, the laser cut keys that weren’t a snap to use and overall the phone delicateness of the phone was too much for pragmatic reasons.

In a nutshell, if you wanted functionality, you stayed away from the RAZR. Period. With the V3i, Motorola is attempting to change that. In fact, if you look at the recent history, Motorola has come up with some excellent products and has priced them very competitively. Take for example, the L6 and the L7. Great products, excellent pricing, and both of them look stunning, plus, they have oodles of functionality.

Will Motorola’s V3i bring the much needed functionality to the erstwhile looks oriented phone? Let’s find out.
