Package and Accessories:

Seriously, this is absolutely the best packaging we have ever seen for a cell phone. Lets forget about the bundled accessories for a minute, and really just talk about the packaging itself. What you get is a nice looking white box with a red Motorola logo on top. There is a nice photograph of the L7 showing both sides of the device with small corresponding text that reads SLVR. The best part is when it's time to open the package. Delightfully, the package doesn't include the traditional flap-design, it simply slides out. You slide the box to the left and see the phone wrapped neatly in foam and plastic. At the same time, you get a small flap sliding out on the right that displays the front fascia of the L7 SLVR. Finally, once you slide the rest of the packaging, it showcases the backside of the device. Talk about innovative packaging.

The phone comes with a USB data cable, handsfree headset which doubles up as your headphone for music, a 128MB TransFlash (MicroSD) card and an SD adapter. There is even a Motorola branded carrying bag for your SD card a nice touch overall. They seem to have heard our pleas with the L6 and have thoughtfully bundled in a Motorola Phone Tools CD with additional software. Then there's the mandatory manual and a charger that connects to the single mini-USB port on the phone.
