(Special Report) - Fujitsu showcased a number of Ultra Mobile PCs (UMPC) at CES 2007. The idea behind the prototypes was to get a reaction from the audience. If the audience was impressed with the ideas, Fujitsu could try to make them a reality. If not, they would kill the idea. And clearly, there’s no better platform to get a general consensus than the International Consumer Electronics Show 2007. The first design you see is of a UMPC with a foldable keyboard. The keyboard would hide behind the display, which you could use to watch movies and/or participate in other multimedia activities. It will be out of the way, so to speak. Fujitsu declined to comment on the pricing or availability of the device, though it will be a Windows based UMPC, obviously.
