Kensington Internet Speaker Phone

(Special Report) - Kensington was on fire at CES 2007. Another exciting product it launched was a Vo200 Bluetooth Internet Speaker Phone. The concept behind the phone is quite simple. It’s a VoIP phone that let’s you talk to your family and friends via Skype, Yahoo! Messenger and other such services. As you can tell, there are three buttons on the front (Power, Bluetooth, Speaker) and a volume button on the left. The device connects to your computer via Bluetooth and let’s you make direct calls through a VoIP service provider, such as Skype. What’s even more exciting is that it can easily be stored away in your ExpressCard Slot and will charge simultaneously. Moreover, you can use it as a cell phone as well as a speakerphone. All you need to do for that is to pull out the bottom flap of the device, place it on a flat surface and press the speaker button to get going. That’s it. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.

Kensington’s Vo200 Bluetooth Internet Speaker Phone is expected to be available in February.
