(Special Report) - In our meeting with Fujitsu and HP, the companies said the future of notebooks is multimedia capabilities. A lot of notebook companies, including HP and Fujitsu, are working on adding more features that would enhance the multimedia capabilities of a notebook. Some of these features include HP’s exclusive Quick Play. Quick Play lets you watch movies, listen to music and view photos without turning on the notebook. We’ll talk more about this feature in another article. Similar to HP’s Quick Play feature, Fujitsu and Panasonic are working on similar add-ons as well. It’s about time companies understand the multi use of notebooks in today’s economy and work on releasing innovative feature sets to make them all rounder.
