Now this is what I call living a glamorous lifestyle. Ego, a relatively well known company with luxurious accessories, is bringing its cheapest notebook to the US market that’s only going to cost $5,000. The notebook looks more or less like a previous Apple notebook with a similar color scheme and an exterior outlook. However, according to Ego, the notebook interchanges into a handbag to make it easy to carry. Plus, you can purchase additional skins (all exclusively designed) to give some pizzazz to Tulip.

The Ego Tulip weighs 5.7lbs, packs AMD’s single-core Turion microprocessor, 12.1” WXGA 1280x800 widescreen display, ATI Radeon Xpress 200M chipset, Bluetooth 2.0 and 801.11 a/b/g WiFi, front-loading DVD/CD writer and a customized USB stick cap.

That’s nothing though. The special edition Otazu edition notebook edition sells for only $350,000. The Otazu obviously has a few diamonds on the front. I wonder if anyone’s ever going to use such a notebook. Shouldn’t it be a collector’s item?
