Kingston, the memory maker, is working on releasing a portable media player, K-PEX (Kingston Portable Entertainment eXperience) very soon to the North American market.

The K-PEX will let you enjoy music, videos, recorded TV, photos and other multimedia features on the go. Kingston’s multimedia player comes in 1GB or 2GB flavors, weighs 65g, has a 2” TFT display, a SD slot for memory upgrade and support for AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, WMV, ASF, MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV and JPEG formats for a variety of entertainment value.

The device also has a built-in microphone and a pair of speakers for voice recording. To top it all, Kingston is even bundling in two games with the device (preinstalled) for the gamers out there. However, the company hasn’t finalized on the two games it plans to install with the device. You may also use the device as a central hub for your digital camera, where you can directly offload images to K-PEX should you choose to.

Kingston is anticipated to ship the unit soon for an undisclosed price tag.
