I don’t know about you, but this headset is hot. The BT30Q is a compact and convenient clip-on style Bluetooth headset that looks great. Of course, I don’t know how it sounds, so I can’t really comment on that. In addition to the stupendous looks, it also comes with an integrated microphone for two-way communication. The batteries are rechargeable as well. There’s not much information available on the device itself, but I hope it sounds as good as it looks. The BT30Q will be available in black or silver. Pricing and availability is unknown. Read - Subscribe to CoolTechZone.com's Techblog RSS Feed  {moscomment}

BlackBerry 8800 Revealed -

After the BlackBerry Pearl, the 8800 is starting to make its way online, at least in pictures. Right now, not too many details are available, but from what we can see, the 8800 is a decent improvement over its 8700 series predecessors, obviously. It will be available in three versions (we are assuming one for each carrier) and a drastically upgraded design. We like how the speaker isn’t on the screen (smudge-prone position) anymore and moved up. The ball design has made its way to the 8800 as well, sort of like the Palm Treo and exactly like the Pearl. The buttons also stand out a bit more and the phone in general looks amazingly sleeker than previous versions. Whether or not the 8800 would have a camera is unclear, though considering it’s mostly designed for business users, we would vote against it. For consumers, there’s always the Pearl they could opt for. Another interesting thing to note is one of the versions has a QWERTZ layout instead of the familiar QWERTY. The mystery on that is still not solved, though some say the “Z” layout is used quite often in Germany. Word on availability or officially pricing is unavailable. Forget the Minox DC1101 gold-plated digital camera that we showed you couple of days ago and welcome Canon on stage for the Luxurious Gadget of The Year Award. In celebration of its Digital ELPH product line turning 10, Canon has released a special edition SD630 digital camera for auction on EBay. All proceeds from the auction will go to Red Cross. Aww, that’s so sweet of Canon. The camera is covered with 380 diamonds with a starting price of approximately $50,788. Needless to say, this camera looks sweet, hot, blingful and whatever other adjectives you can come up with to relay your first impressions. Canon is also working on nine his and her models that will be auctioned off at a privately held charity event. The price on those starts at $4,493.95 each. The venue for the auction was not disclosed. So, if you are in a giving mood, feel free to check out the auction and bid. Read - Subscribe to CoolTechZone.com's Techblog RSS Feed  {moscomment}

I think Steve forgot to really reveal the product after his good old mantra: One More Thing… The real product that Apple should have made public was the highly anticipated (isn’t everything?) iPhone. According to a report, confidential sources say Apple is on track with its iPhone launch in January 2007. The same sources, Think Secret mentions, confirmed the company would not release a mobile phone in 2006. Looks like the sources know a thing or two, wouldn’t you say? Apple is expected to integrate a 3-megapixel camera, 2.2-inch display and complete integration with iPod + iTunes bundle. Nooo, are you serious? If there’s anything to predict, it’s that Apple will definitely push the iPod + iTunes combo. Read - Subscribe to CoolTechZone.com's Techblog RSS Feed  {moscomment}

Zune Price Revealed -

Those jokers at Wal-Mart (out of all the possible places) have “accidentally” published Zune’s starting price on Wal-Mart.com. According to sources, the 30GB Zune in all its ugly glory will cost $284 brand new. Just to go off on a random tangent, what’s up with the random $284 price tag? I think we would all appreciate a nice round number to, say, $279.99. How’s that for value, huh Wal-Mart? Of course, the listing has been removed from the company’s website.
