Now this is what I call living a glamorous lifestyle. Ego, a relatively well known company with luxurious accessories, is bringing its cheapest notebook to the US market that’s only going to cost $5,000. The notebook looks more or less like a previous Apple notebook with a similar color scheme and an exterior outlook. However, according to Ego, the notebook interchanges into a handbag to make it easy to carry. Plus, you can purchase additional skins (all exclusively designed) to give some pizzazz to Tulip. The Ego Tulip weighs 5.7lbs, packs AMD’s single-core Turion microprocessor, 12.1” WXGA 1280x800 widescreen display, ATI Radeon Xpress 200M chipset, Bluetooth 2.0 and 801.11 a/b/g WiFi, front-loading DVD/CD writer and a customized USB stick cap. That’s nothing though. The special edition Otazu edition notebook edition sells for only $350,000. The Otazu obviously has a few diamonds on the front. I wonder if anyone’s ever going to use such a notebook. Shouldn’t it be a collector’s item? Read - Subscribe to CoolTechZone.com's Techblog RSS Feed  {moscomment}

I don’t know why you would need this, but I guess if you are doing late night surfing and you need something to warm your hands, this mouse might come in handy. The mouse is padded with rubber for a comfortable grip, and it lets you control the temperature to perfectly suit your needs. It doesn’t get any better than that. This 800dpi mouse is available immediately for $25, though we are unsure whether it will make its way to other parts of the world except Japan. Wow, just wow! If you thought the Logitech MX and VX mice were revolutionary, check out the Street Mouse VoIP. It’s a mouse, it’s a VoIP phone and you can listen to music by plugging in those 3.5” headphones. Main Features: • Unique ergonomic design and style • Accurate 800 dpi optical mouse • Internet phone for making VOIP calls - works with Skype • Built-in mic - headphones included • USB and PS2 adaptors included • Suitable for PC and Laptop • 2 buttons with scroll wheel • Rear taillights and working LED headlights • Available in cherry red and silver • No mouse pad required I doubt the performance is going to be off the ballpark, but it’s one of those cool, all-in-one gizmos that you must have for show-n’-tell. It’s pretty affordable, too. For £21.95, you can pick from silver and red and take it for a drive. Unfortunately, there’s no word whether or not the Street will make its way to North America or other parts of the world. Read - Subscribe to CoolTechZone.com's Techblog RSS Feed  {moscomment}

I think I’m going to give up on my iPod accessories rant, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to accept new iPod accessories with any less pain. With that out of the way, let’s move on to Griffin for now. Griffin has released information on a brand new set of iPod speakers, the Voyager. “The Voyager boasts a protective tactile rubber enclosure that also serves as a stand. The portable speaker system also offers a built-in, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, wireless remote control, an adjustable iPod dock, auxiliary input, and Dock Connector port.” Not to mention, the speaker looks downright amazing. At least companies are starting to perfect the art of making iPod accessories. The Voyager will run $130 when it hits store shelves in Q1 2007.
