The MX5021 speaker set is designed for TVs, Game Consoles, PCs, and portable devices such as CD players and MP3 players. There is a "Y" adapter for Game Console connectivity. There are audio in and speaker connection cables for the main setup. And finally, we see the black remote control, Altec Lansing's cleaning cloth and installation/user's manuals (not shown).

The guides are easy to follow and understand. There are diagrams along with explanations for the installation and a great troubleshooting guide. The main things to notice are the remote control and the cleaning cloth. The remote control has volume up/down, treble and bass adjustment and standby buttons. The remote uses a small battery to operate.

Due to the heavily finished satellites, Altec Lansing had to include a cleaning cloth. You will definitely see finger/palm prints after working with the satellites. These are surely not your everyday speakers and must be left alone after you are done setting them up. They are a luxury in the speaker/audio world.
