It is important for enthusiasts to monitor their
system temperatures when tweaking their systems. If you are one
of those people that like to tweak their system and have lots
of fans for cooling, you know the daunting task of reducing noise
level while still keeping the temperatures at minimum levels.
That’s why most of us have fan controllers and system monitors.
Some of us also like to cool their hard drives by putting fans
around them. It’s too much load when you have to pay attention
to so many factors in a PC.
CoolerMaster released their CoolDrive 4, which is
a hard drive cooler, a fan controller, and a system monitor. CoolerMaster
combined the functionality of CoolDrive 3 and Aerogate II and
produced a hybrid. Most of the time when you combine too many
functions into one thing, neither of them works at their full
potential. Let’s see if CoolDrive 4 is really recommendable.
Accessories:
CoolDrive 4 came with an installation guide, 4 x
thermal sensors, 1 x screw pack, 3 x extension cables, and 1 x
power cable. The manual is written in nine different languages
and as always, it is easy to follow and understand.
