OCZ’s Gladiator 3 HSF comes with a 60MM tri-led
fan along with a purple body. Honestly we have no idea why OCZ
went with the color purple?. Apparently the color is not the strong
point for the affordable Gladiator. Also notice the clip installation
design on this heatsink.
Above picture provides you with close-up of the
Gladiator. You can certainly see the color purple more vibrantly
along with the fan.
OCZ is back with the Fin Technology that we have
seen over and over in many heatsinks from various manufacturers.
Unquestionably the Fin Technology is used to better dissipate
the heat by providing space between each fin so the heat can pass
through easily. We have seen many manufacturers naming the same
technology differently and then patent pending it. Also observe
the solid copper.
