Tyan:

Tyan was showcasing their Quad and Dual chip motherboards. If you noticed, Tyan stopped producing video cards with the G9800 being their last product. Tyan informed us that the company will not adopt the future generation of graphics cards from either GPU vendors, Nvidia and ATi. Apparently, Tyan's future was limited in the video card market due to strong competition, however, the company did not made specific comments as to why the company decided to exit the graphics card market.
You may have also noticed that Tyan is not much of a competitor in the desktop/enthusiast motherboards market, featuring only few motherboards for each platform, AMD and Intel. It will be a different scenario on Tyan's part when Intel's new chipsets, Alderwood and Grantsdale, come out. Tyan seemed really excited about Intel's upcoming chipsets and will compete hard by producing much more than few retail motherboards.
Mainly, Tyan is known to produce excellent server boards and will continue to do so, stated Tyan.
Emacs:

Emacs was another vendor that was present at the show floor. They were mainly showcasing PC peripherals, which included keyboards and power supplies.
