HP, after strongly competing in the enterprise and consumer product markets, wants to enter the enthusiast market segment. The company's targets are Alienware, Voodoo PC, Falcon Northwest, and many other custom PC builders.

HP will let the consumers customize their dream machine rather than offering pre-configured gaming machine models such as it's Compaq X-Gaming machine.

According to HP, the systems will be available sometime in June or July. They will range from $1500.00 to over $3000.00. The consumers will be able to place orders either online or at selected retail stores such as CompUSA.

HP started offering the Compaq X-Gaming machines few months ago and after seeing the success, HP is now convinced of the revenue shares it will raise due to their purchasing power from custom part manufacturers.

The components will range from the latest GPUs to latest CPUs and the latest motherboards. The machine will also come with a pre-modded case with glowing PC lights and a side window.

According to HP's Product Marketing Manager, HP will pass the savings to it's consumers with their purchasing power in the market.

He also said, "We are going to compete hard here."
