Features:

The Corsair PC4400 operates at 275Mhz front side
bus frequency with RAM timings set to 3-4-4-8 by default. The
timings are certainly not the best especially when DDR400 or PC3200
can achieve timings up to 2-2-2-5/6. Surely, the RAM timings determine
some performance but the rest of the performance also depends
on the frequency the memory is operating at and the amount of
bandwidth it can provide. The Pentium 4 processors are bandwidth
hungry and will gain performance with the extra bandwidth provided
by the RAM.
Aside the default performance of the memory, overclocking
is the next thing that comes to the overall picture. At the tightest
timings of 2-2-2-5/6, Corsair's DDR400 can reach up to 260Mhz
speeds. This is not the case with every memory though. DDR400
can only go to a certain point and after that it’s the end
of the overclocking quest for the enthusiast. Sure, you can run
the memory in unsync. mode with the processor but mostly, that's
the not the best setting for ultimate performance.
