OCZ announces enhanced bandwidth PC3700 system memory

OCZ Technology, one of the top leaders in the memory market, announced its PC3700 Enhanced Bandwidth DDR memory yesterday. The memory is mainly designed for gamers and enthusiasts. The product comes in single unit packaging as well as dual-channel kits.

The memory sticks feature a copper heatspreader for cooling and the memory is configured to operate at 3-3-2-8 timings. It is covered under the company’s lifetime warranty specifications.

According to OCZ, the memory sticks can run at tight RAM timings of 3-2-2-8. This particular memory is mainly designed for Intel platforms and features OCZ’s high bandwidth technology. The Enhanced Bandwidth gives better overclocking performance, confirms sources.

The memory is now available at online retailers.

This is a new way for OCZ to currently improve it’s already introduced PC3700 memory series. There is a definite performance gain from the company’s Enhanced Bandwidth memory as confirmed by various product analysts.
