Heatsink

Sapphire decided to use a passive heatsink on the GPU with ATi’s logo in the center. Cooling was not taken into consideration with the memory modules either. Using passive cooling on low-end and mid-level cards is quite popular amongst manufacturers. It saves them from greater manufacturing costs but ultimately the end-user has to suffer. Passive cooling also makes overclocking a difficult task, as heat becomes a major limiting factor.
